Cookery Classes for everyone
“Like almost everyone I’ve found the last couple of years pretty tough. Ups and downs for sure. Yet I always know when there’s a down the best place for me to go is to the kitchen for some culinary therapy. It almost always works for me and I know it works for many keen home cooks too. Standing daily by the stove for the first time was a revelation for many during the lockdowns; for others it was an opportunity to cook something new, to fine tune dishes never previously mastered or even become proficient in a specialist culinary zone; some have even pulled a new career out of the pot.
As we haved moved away from these enforced changes to lifestyle and also reflecting that I’m being asked for recipes and tuition like never before, I’m getting the impression that it was one of the few positives to emerge from this period and there’s a good chance that cooking in the home is more than going to hold its own alongside dining-out and takeaways in the months and years ahead.
I’m happy to share my skills and experience with those who want to cook, whatever your experience. 2022 sees a mix of smaller and larger classes now possible using different venues and an emphasis on providing more scope for guests to select what you would like me to teach.” Ricky M.
